Malecon Restaurant started in 1987 in Washington Heights with a small kitchen and a big dream: to share the true flavors of the Dominican Republic. Our first menu was simple, but each dish was made with care and tradition. Our rotisserie chicken quickly became a favorite, and as word spread, we opened more locations, including the Upper West Side, keeping authentic recipes and family values at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Malecon has three locations: 4141 Broadway in Washington Heights, 764 Amsterdam Ave in the Upper West Side, and 3500 Broadway at Malecon Express. Each location continues to serve authentic Dominican dishes with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering.
